Seller's Guide.

Selling here is the inverse of a normal marketplace. You read a live board of buyers who have already told you what they want and what they will pay, answer with a sealed offer, ship the card, and get paid through Stripe once the buyer accepts the card or the inspection window closes. This guide covers listing, payouts, shipping, and exactly when and how you are paid.

1. Get verified

Only verified sellers can respond to wants and list items. Verification may include identity checks, and for graded inventory we may verify your slab certificate numbers against the grading company's records. The earliest sellers can join as Founder Sellers, which carries a badge and reduced fees while we build.

2. Set up payouts with Stripe

Before you can be paid, connect a payout account. We use Stripe for all money movement. Head to payout setupand complete Stripe's onboarding, which creates a Stripe Express account linked to your seller profile and collects the bank and identity details Stripe needs to pay you. Daily Card Show never sees or holds your full banking details; Stripe handles that directly. You only have to do this once.

3. List your inventory

Answer wants on the Want Board with sealed offers, or post your cards directly so buyers can find them. Head to Create a Listing. Where a card exists in our catalog, link it so your listing carries the official image and is easy to search. For graded slabs and sealed product, add your own photos of the actual item, and always state the real condition. See the condition guide for how to grade honestly. Accurate listings are self-protection: an over-graded card invites a dispute and a hit to your reputation.

4. The deal funds escrow

When a buyer accepts your offer or buys your listing, their payment is captured into escrowheld by the platform through Stripe. The money is real and committed, but it is not yours yet. The buyer's shipping details unseal to you so you can fulfill the order. Do not ship until you see the order is paid into escrow.

5. Ship with tracking

Pack the card to survive the trip: penny sleeve, top loader or graded case, taped into a rigid mailer, and ship promptly with tracking. Share the tracking number with the buyer in the app. Tracking is not optional here; it is the proof that you shipped and that the card was delivered, which is what protects your payout if a buyer claims an item never arrived. See the Shipping & Packaging guide for the full standard.

6. When you get paid

When the card arrives, the buyer marks it received, which opens a 3-day inspection window. Once the buyer accepts the card as described, escrow releases and Stripe transfers your proceeds to your connected account. If the buyer does nothing, escrow auto-releases to you after 3 days. In short: you are paid out when the buyer accepts, or automatically 3 days after delivery, not when the buyer pays. The only thing that holds payout is the buyer reporting a problem within the window, which pauses it for our team to resolve. This is the same protection that makes buyers comfortable spending here, and it is why shipping with tracking and describing condition honestly directly speeds up your payout.

7. The fee

Daily Card Show charges a 7% + $0.30 fee on the sale price. It is deducted from your proceeds at payout, so on a $100 sale the fee is $7.30 and you receive $92.70. The buyer pays the card price; the fee comes out of your side, not added on top of theirs. On very low-priced cards a small processing floor applies so the fee at least covers card-processing costs, which means the effective rate on a cheap card can be a little higher. The exact fee is shown before you ever incur it, and Founder Sellers pay a reduced rate.

8. Reputation lives here

Every want you fulfill and every listing you sell builds a verified track record buyers can see. A seller with dozens of clean, fulfilled deals wins offers an unknown seller never will, even at a slightly higher price, because buyers are paying for trust. The one rule that protects this: keep the deal on the floor. A transaction taken off platform never happened in your record, and it forfeits escrow and payout protection for both sides.
