Daily Card Show is a venue for buying and selling authentic trading cards, graded slabs, and sealed product. This policy lists what may not be listed, offered, or sold on the Platform. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violations can result in listing removal, payout reversal, suspension, permanent ban, and, where appropriate, cooperation with rights holders and law enforcement. Sellers are responsible for knowing and following this policy.
1. No gambling, chance, or randomized-pull mechanics
This is the most important rule on the Platform. You may notlist, offer, or sell anything that places a chance element between a buyer's payment and what they receive. That includes, without limitation:
- Card breaks of any format (team, hit, division, random, or otherwise).
- Repacks, “mystery boxes,” mystery packs, blind bags, or grab bags.
- “Spin to win,” wheel, dice, or any randomized-pull mechanic.
- Raffles, sweepstakes, lotteries, or randomized “lots” priced per spot or per entry.
- Any listing where the specific item the buyer will receive is determined by chance after payment.
A normal listing — where the buyer sees a specific item, pays for it, and receives that exact item — is fine. Manufacturer-sealed product sold as the sealed product itself (not opened and randomized for buyers) is fine. The moment randomness is introduced between payment and delivery, it is prohibited.
2. Counterfeit, fake, and tampered items
- Counterfeit, replica, reproduction, or “custom” cards represented as authentic.
- Counterfeit or replica graded slabs, or fake holders of any grading company (PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, or others).
- Tampered slabs — holders that have been cracked, reholdered, or swapped to insert a different or counterfeit card.
- Resealed, “weighed,” or searched packs and boxes represented as factory-fresh.
- Altered, trimmed, recolored, or restored cards that are not clearly and accurately disclosed as altered.
3. Graded-slab listing requirement
Every listing for a graded slab must include a valid certificate number that matches both the item and the grading company shown. By listing a graded slab, you authorize us to check that certificate number against the grading company's records. Listings with missing, invalid, or mismatched cert numbers may be removed.
4. Stolen goods and items you can't sell
- Stolen property, or items reported lost or stolen.
- Items you do not own or do not have the legal right to sell.
- Items subject to a court order, lien, or other restriction on sale.
5. Intellectual-property infringement
The resale of authentic cards you legitimately own is permitted under the first-sale doctrine. Beyond that, you may not list items that infringe intellectual property, including:
- Bootleg, pirated, or unauthorized reproductions of trademarked or copyrighted works.
- Items that use a rights holder's marks to falsely imply official status or endorsement.
- Any item subject to a category-wide takedown by the rights holder.
6. Other prohibited categories
The Platform is for collectibles only. The following are not permitted:
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or regulated weapon parts.
- Hazardous, flammable, or otherwise dangerous materials.
- Adult or sexually explicit content.
- Drugs, controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, and related paraphernalia.
- Recalled, unsafe, or otherwise legally restricted goods.
- Anything else illegal to sell where you or the buyer are located.
7. Reporting and enforcement
If you see a listing that violates this policy, report it to trust@dailycardshow.com. We review reports and may remove listings, reverse or freeze payouts, and suspend or permanently ban accounts. Repeat counterfeit or fraud violations result in a permanent ban. This policy works together with our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
